The new 1.5 version for Stardew Valley brings new levels, enemies, and also the addition of a new dungeon called the Volcano Dungeon. This new dungeon is one of the most challenging and difficult dungeons added to the game and will require a tactical plan to get through it. This guide will help you get through the Volcano Dungeon in Stardew Valley with ease.
How to Complete the Volcano Dungeon in Stardew Valley
There’s a load of new content added in the Stardew Valley such as The Beach Farm and the Ginger Island for players to explore and obtain certain items from. You can unlock the dungeon by helping Leo, a resident of Ginger Island.
The pathway to the Volcano Dungeon will be unlocked after you chat with Leo. We have to be more considerate about what items and tools we will be bringing in there to survive.
There is lava flowing when the dungeon opens and you will have to use the watering to make the lava cool and then go across it. To beat the dungeon, you will have to reach the 10th floor. Each floor, except the fifth and tenth floors, is randomized and you will need to be ready for anything.
Bring a nice set of weapons to counter your enemies. You should focus on reaching the stairs as fast as possible and avoid engaging enemies. Inside the Volcano Dungeon, you will come across a few puzzles, which you will have to complete in order to unlock the next floor. We are not certain about what puzzles you will face as they are randomized.
While on the 5th floor of the dungeon, you can gift the parrot 5 Golden Walnuts for a shortcut to skip that floor level and there’s also a ship on this floor that contains some useful items such as Cinderclown Shoes.
The 10th floor of the dungeon consists of a forge where you can buff your weapons using Prismatic Shard gained on the same floor. You can also use Cinder Shard to pay for the weapon’s enhancement. You can on this floor also do fishing in the magma and obtain a special fish Laval Eel. You can also visit the dungeon again in the game.
