In Genshin Impact, there are plenty of rare items that players can collect and use later on in the game. Here, we are going to discuss another rare item called “Solar Pearl”. It is a catalyst weapon produced from a mysterious substance that absorbs the light from the sun and moon, it is a dull and golden pearl, which throbs with a warm strength. Solar Pearl when equipped in Genshin Impact increases the Elemental Skill and Burst damage by up to 20% for normal attacks.

This weapon has a 4-star rarity with a base damage of 42, inflicting bonus damage with critical strikes for up to 6% and there are a number of characters in Genshin Impact that can wield this weapon these are Lisa, Klee, Ningguang, Barbara, Mona, and Sucrose.
To obtain this weapon, you will have to purchase the Battle Pass in Genshin Impact, which costs $9.99 in every season. It cannot be obtained as other catalyst weapons present in-game such as Prototype Malice, Blackcliff Amulet, Wine and Song, Skyward Atlas, Eye of Perception, Lost prayer to the Sacred Winds, Favonius Codex, The Widsith, Royal Grimoire, Twin Nephrite, Amber Catalyst, Otherworldly Story, Pocket Grimoire and Mappa Mare, which are also as rare as Solar Pearl and have their own perks upon equipping one of these.
Solar Pearl has 6 levels of ascension, beginning at 20 and can be maxed to 90, but you will need to collect certain items required for Ascension that can be obtained by playing through the course of game and completing certain quests. These items or crafting materials include:
- Hunter’s sacrificial knife
- Luminous Sands from Guyun
- Whopperflower Nectar
- Shimmering Nectar
You can also spend Mora to proceed in Ascension of Solar Pearl. First Ascension requires 5000 Mora and proceeding on the fourth Ascension requires 30000 Mora, prices of these Ascension levels are not too high considering the amount of Mora players collect in-game from different quests.
