The new Zombie mode in COD Cold War brings tons of new content with it. In this mode, players can have fun with friends or play solo and queue up with Randoms to gun down hordes of zombies in a large-scale and open-world map. There’s a new Easter Egg challenge, Dragon Relic Easter Egg, that you can complete In-game and gain some incredible rewards. This is a guide on how to complete that challenge in COD Cold War.
Dragon Relic Outbreak Challenge
In order to complete this challenge, you first need to know where to go and start it. It is located in the bottom left corner of the map and is represented with a Dragon symbol. Once you reach this location, you will find a large Dragon-like statue, a mechanical machine. You need to walk over to it and start the challenge, which costs 500 Essence, an in-game currency to start the challenge.
After starting this challenge, you will see a purple fire ring appear on the floor around your character, right in front of the Dragon statue, and Dragon itself will pop out of the massive hole on top of the statue.
Now, you will notice the zombies proceeding towards you, and all you need to do is kill all these zombies as soon as they are in the purple ring. As you keep on killing them, the Dragon relic will raise them into the sky and keep on eating them. The Player basically needs to feed the Dragon in this challenge and continue this skirmish of killing zombies for a minute or so, and you will be prompted when you have completed the challenge.
You need to keep in mind that zombies should be killed while they are in the purple ring, else the Dragon won’t pick them up.
After you have completed this challenge, the Hordes will disappear, and the Dragon statue will take off from there and reward you with a chest that contains ultimate loot items like some rare or legendary weapons, useful equipment, salvage, or armor.
