In Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition, you can play as seven characters but there are only three characters that if you need to play with them, require you to accomplish specific challenges to unlock them. As the first four characters are unlocked by default when you start playing the game and are the base characters. These four characters are Scott Pilgrim, Kim Pines, Steven Stills, and Ramona Flowers.
The other three characters that you need to unlock are Wallace Wells, Nega Scott, and Knives Chau and this is how you will unlock these characters.
Wallace Wells
Wallace was the secondary characters added into the game with the DLC and is available to be unlocked as you start playing the game. Wallace is a clone of Stephen Stills but has some unique animations. Wallace and Knives both have their own endings but, in our opinion, Wallace is not worth it, after all, even being a reference to Streets of Rage.
Nega Scott
Nega Scott is a character who comes to only those who beat the game, which means finishing the game with all four of the main characters, including Scott, Stephen, Ramona, and Kim. You don’t have to beat the game with any DLC characters to unlock Nega Scott. Nega Scott has a playstyle similar to Scott Pilgrim but has a few different moves from his boss battle and also a new assist with Nega-Knives. You should unlock this character if you’re a fan of Scott Pilgrim, but you should not bother unlocking him as he is not worth beating the game four times.
Knives Chau
Knives Chau is the very first DLC character added to the game, and she is unlockable from the start if you connect to Ubisoft Connect. Doing the following action would unlock her straight away, but if you are unable to select her, restart the game and she will be unlocked, but remember to connect to Ubisoft Connect. There isn’t any other way to unlock her. Knives Chau acts as a semi-clone character of Kim, featuring some of her moves alongside a few of her own.
