As of right now, Valheim is all the rage. This Viking-inspired survival video game has already gained a massive number of players, who bought this game, reaching up to three million sales, and it is just available on a single platform as of now. The results from the game are pretty impressive, considering very few bugs and glitches in early access, which were sorted out in the live version. The game is already breaking records of concurrent players playing the game with over 423,000 players, playing at once. Now, just like other hot games out there, are we looking to have Valheim on PlayStation 5?
There are great chances of Valheim coming to PlayStation 5, but nothing is confirmed yet. In an interview, devs were asked if Valheim is going to be released on PlayStation 5? to which the Developers stated that they are planning on it, but they don’t have a concrete plan as of now, which describes that there is no release date for Valheim in 2021 right now.
The Iron Gate AB Devs might focus on the PC version as the game is still in early access, and the devs stated that the game might stay in early access for at least a year or so. This heavily depends on how much they want to put into the final version of the game in regard to content.
Devs have claimed that most of the core features have been implemented in the game already, but there is still a lot that they have to embed in the game in the future, including new biomes, enemies, bosses, and some other materialistic things as well. They also wish to expand the crafting system and add a good variety of weapons, items, and enemies.
The game might not wait long enough for it to be developed for the consoles. PlayStation has a huge player base waiting for Valheim to be released on the console, but it is not certain if the developers at Iron Gates AB will make the jump as of now, they have got their hands full with the PC version.
