Suicune is returning to battle in five-star duels in Pokémon Go and is one of the three legendary Pokémon – Entei, Raikou, Suicune. Its catch rate is around 1.6% which is why it is considered a legendary Pokémon and almost a Myth in the Pokémon world.
Suicune is a Water-type Pokémon and has abilities of Pressure, a hidden ability Inner Focus, and also the ability to absorb water. It also counters Steel-type and Fire-type Pokémon. It can only be caught by defeating it just like other Pokémon, but beating a Suicune is not an easy task as you will have to know its weaknesses to beat it in a five-star raid in Pokémon Go.
How to Beat Suicune in Pokemon Go
Pokémon that can fully counter a Suicune are Electric-type and Grass-type Pokémon. By having these Pokémon in your roster, you can beat a Suicune as any Water-type attack from it will be in vain. There are specifically some Pokémon which can counter a Suicune:
- Raikou
- Zekrom
- Sceptile
- Magnezone (Magneton evolution)
- Electivire
These Pokémon are the best of their types to counter a Suicune with their exceptional Electrical and Grass abilities. They can really make a dent in the battle against a Suicune. If you don’t have any of these Pokémon, don’t worry! You can always take any of your strongest Electric-type or Grass-type Pokémon into the battle and fight a Suicune.
If you are looking to take down a Suicune and add it to your roster, you have got a tough battle ahead of you as it’s got a CP of 37,761, which is an elite class CP. Don’t try to fight it in rainy weather as it gets boosted in rain.
If you have a legendary type Zekrom in your roster, you can easily take down Suicune with Zekrom’s high damage inflicting abilities. You can also use a Mega Venasaur on which you can use Vine whip ability or Frenzy plant to take down or inflicting a great deal of damage to a Zekrom.
